What to Expect
Initially, the color intensity of your brow procedure will appear significantly larger, sharper, brighter or darker than what is expected for the final outcome. Brows will fade up to 30% lighter by the end of the healing process. Results can last 11 to 18 months after which the pigment fades leaving the skin and your natural brows exactly as they were. Recommend treatments are 1 to 2 times after initial treatment (occasionally 3 treatments) and then once per year to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.
Oily skin, pregnancy, certain medications, sun exposure, prior permanent makeup (brow tattoo), organ transplant recipients and other contraindications may prevent you from having this service. You may not have microblading if you recently had Botox. You must wait until it has worn off and you need to have it done again. If you are considering Botox, microblading first, and then Botox after healing is complete.
While the implanted hues may initially simulate the exact color and tone desired, it will not always remain a perfect match. Implanted hues are constant, while your own skin tones will vary depending on exposure to cold, heat, sun, and circulatory changes. For example, if you tan your skin and had a scar camouflaged, your surrounding skin will be darker in appearance than the treated area. You may experience slight swelling or redness for 1 to 2 days following your procedure.
